KBC tenure: 10 years, after answering an online job posting.

Responsibilities: Designing, product specifying, order processing, field/jobsite visits, showroom visits with clients, CAD drawing, product training, communications with clients, jobsite coordination with contractors and project quoting.

Memorable project: One recent project involved combining two condominium projects into one contemporary space. In additional to a kitchen, bathrooms, closets and home office, we designed, engineered and created other unique spaces such as a water feature and fireplace. The most rewarding part -- besides the outcome of the space as a whole -- were the tears of joy on the clients' faces when they walked into their new home for the first time.

Most people don't know that: I kissed the Blarney Stone, played lacrosse in high school and enjoy making homemade beer and wine with my husband.

Awards: Lead designer on a project that won two first-place awards (medium-sized kitchen and large bath) in the National Kitchen and Bath Association's annual design competition, our industry's "Oscars," as well as Pittsburgh magazine's 2016 Home of the Year in the "new build" category. Previously, two NKBA Honorable Mentions; Sub-Zero Design Contest – Regional Winner.
